Jack From London | Signed On: Thu 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 CST Kate, Gerry. I'm your average 18 year old who has been deeply touched by Madeleine's abduction. Since day one i have followed and prayed, and even dreamt she was found. The recent developments are ludacris. I've never seen or even begin to imagine parents to be as strong as you both have been. I admire your devotion. Best wishes, Jack. x |

Nes From Ontario, Canada | Signed On: Thu 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 CST I am so sorry to see your ordeal made even worse by the actions and suggestions of blame by the Portuguese police and presumably their government, in an effort to deflect attention from their ineptitude. One can't help but be reminded of the poor Ramsey family. You are supported by many people the world over, it is disgusting to see what is happening. The best defense is a good offence, I guess. I can only imagine the horror you are both going through, and now this added in to your nightmare. Please try to keep strong, hold your heads high, you have done nothing wrong. |

debby peeler From winnipeg mb canada | Signed On: Thu 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 CST I find it impossible to believe that the blundering police are putting this family through this additional pain and suffering, to try and distract from their incompetent policing. My heart and prayers are with you and your family. At this point I have no desire to ever re visit the algarve. |

Nicola J From Wiltshire | Signed On: Thu 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 CST I felt compelled to write after the horrendous turn of events during the last 2 days. This family have had to go through the agony of having their child abducted, to watching an inept Police Force bungle the investigation infront of the worlds media. To have come out and show support of this so called Police force must have been a hard pill to swollow. The investigation has been jaded from the beginning, to offer Kate McCann a 'deal' because they have nowhere else to turn and do not want to lose face on a Global scale. They appear to be trying to deflect the crime away from their shores - I'm utterly aghast and disgusted by the turn of events. To the McCann's, I'll pray for you and will pray that your faith is strong enough to see you through this time. |

karen From dumfries | Signed On: Thu 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 CST How Madeleine's parents are coping is beyond belief - how the world turns led by the media. Strength required is beyond the imaginings of most of us. But possible. It's amazing what a human being can endure. The important thing is continuing the fight to find your daughter the rest is trivia. Stay strong. Your strength has been tested beyond endurance but your mission is bigger than that. |

| |
selina williams From Bewdley | Signed On: Thu 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 CST I am outraged to think that parents have to go through this. It is obvious that the Portuguese Police are trying to get off lightly for their failure to find your daughter. Never give up. |

| |
Irena Wallace From Tyne & Wear | Signed On: Thu 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 CST I really feel that I must offer my support and let the McCanns know that there are people who do not believe for one moment that either of them have done anything to their daughter. I am disgusted at the way the Portuguese police have dealt with this case. I appreciate their process of investigation is very much different from ours but I am appalled at the way this proceeding. Thoughts and prayers are with you. |
