I have just heard that you anticipate coming home, I think that is a positive move Here you will get support from people who believe in you. and stability for your other two children.
Away from intrusion into your private lives, and people who are biased by the press and publicity towards you. I dont know how you have or are coping, I cannot imagine how you both must be feeling to be suspects, it is beyond comprehension. I cant imagine you had anything to do with her disappearance, come back home to Leicestersire where you will be treated fairly, and free to say what you think and feel Portugal is against you, looking for a scapegoat because they have screwed up with their investigations from day one. Yoy would have more memories of your little girl at home, where she belongs. Portugal has nothing for you really now. Your friends and family are what you need most around you, their support, you dont need to stay in a country tto prove your inocence, it seems you have been proved guilty without trial over there, they are more concerned about their tourism than your little girl.Go home.. If only for your two other little children and give them some normality. |

I feel so strongly that what you are going through now is wrong that i had to write in support of you. To loose a daughter is a nightmare, to be accused of her murder is horrendous. As i listen to the news unfolding i cannot comprehend your ability to keep going through this time, but you have each other, and your twins, and the knowledge of the truth in your hearts, and you must find strength from this. i was appalled at how Kate was booed when she left the police station, how quickly the same people who grieve for you can turn against you, but you must remain strong, the truth will come out in the end... till then i send you all my thoughts and love x |

I don`t usually write on message boards but feel I have to after the events of the past two days I feel very saddened by these events and the uselessness of the police in this matter,you are not alone there a millions of decent people out there who really feel and care about you,I`m not a religious man but I hope your God be with you Kate and Gerry,as for the gutter press all they want to do is sell more `newspapers`I hope that they never have to go through what Kate and Gerry and their families are going through.

Hi, Its absurd to change direction of finding Madeleine & accuse Gerry & Kate of her disappearance. This is a deffinate set up in two forms.1....Putting a deal to Kate to confess for a short sentence. 2..Blood of Madeleine found in hired car.
Did they checked the movement of the car (mileage wise) before Mcanns had? My wishes are with Gerry & Kate, will pray to god for them and safe return of madeleine. |

I dont understand how the police have come to such a conclusion. Kate and Gerry could not have done such a thing, i think the police are grasping at straws due to there incompetence during the early stages of the investigation. Kate and Gerry have been under constant supervision not just by the police but throughout the world, so when on earth did they have the time to sneak a body into a car?

How convenient that since Kate and Gerry decided to sue a Portuguese paper for printing information sold to the press by corrupt police officers, the police have decided to make them formal suspects!! It stinks of a cover up. The Portuguese police are useless. They lost valuable time right from the start and wallowed in their so-called press conferences to satisfy their own ego. They are right though - the truth will indeed come out and they will be left looking even more corrupt and stupid than they do now. My prayers are with you Kate and Gerry. I believe Madeleine's parents have suffered terrible but it cannot be said outright that their interrogation is ludicrous. None other than those present at the time can say what happened. It may turn out to be a terrible tragic accident that the parent/s are unable to deal with so in their suffering have hide the truth and are dealing with it in a way they can only cope with. What ever the outcome Madeleine's parents will need support and understanding to deal this the circumstances. We are not to judge but also not to deny.

:D Dear Kate and Gerry, I am appalled at the notion that either of you had anything to do with the disappearance of your beautiful daughter. I am a mother of 2 teenage girls and have left them many times alone whilst I was just a few yeards away like yourselves. My heart goes out to you and you are constantly in my prayers. I know that you will find Maddy alive and all this will just become a distant nightmare for you going forward. I am so impressed with the courage you show. Keep focussing on the positive future.
