Janice Cleland nee M From Northampton | Signed On: Thu 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 CST As a McCann and with a few 'Madeleine's in our family my heart stopped when I heard the initial news report. It still does - and will do until Madeleine is found. I do not believe that her parents are involved. As a mum of 3 - including 2 and 4 yr old girls - I cannot imagine what they are going through. Our thoughts are with all of the McCann family. |

All my family From London | Signed On: Thu 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 CST Don't be afraid Gerry. Kate is right - the Keystone Cops of the Algarve are trying to frame you because if they had half a brain cell between them they would have cordoned off the crime scene immediately, taken away your hire car which supposedly had forensic evidence and either arrested or charged you. Truth of the matter is, if they had done a thorough search of the area as they insisted, then how exactly were you supposed to hide Madeleine? Either they did or they didn't! Praia Da Luz is known only in holiday brochures to the rest of the world. The Police are out of their depth and clutching at straws since basically they are country bumpkins - peasants. They wanted rid of Kate and Gerry so they could get rid of the press and continue to do sod all without being in the world media. Clever move, but don't worry - you are not alone - they have the rest of us to contend with. I am a grandmother of 5 and have never felt so incensed about any news item before, but this latest twist beggars belief. To all the people who have posted messages, hit Portugal where it hurts most -in their pockets. Go to anywhere in the world for your holiday, but give Portugal a wide berth. Gerry and Kate - it will all be alright even though right now it may be difficult to believe. Our love to you and your family. xxxxxxxxx |

Elaine Barnett From runcorn cheshire | Signed On: Thu 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 CST Hi Gerry and Kate, What can I say to you? No words can ever console you both. Only this. . .The vast majority of people in this country believe in you. The Portuguese police are grasping at straws. While they concentrate and you both then the attention is being diverted away from the most important person in all this. . . little Maddy. Please know this, we pray for the return of your little girl safe and well. Keep your focus on that and not on the negative of the last few days. God Bless you both Elaine xx |
