I just want to say thank you for the efforts that you are putting in to try to the Amber Alert in place for all out other kids - anyone else would just sit back and let someone else get on with it.
Mostly though I just want to say - stay strong. I hope Maddie will be found soon. I don't do prayers but she is always in my thoughts.

Saw your 2 hour programme on ITV a few days ago.
Arguindo status should be lifted without a doubt and never should have been inposed! If Maddy disappeared in UK I think you/media/public/police would have found her by now!(Or sooner!). I would have no faith in system with police in Portugal. Please keep faith, its holiday time and you may get leads. Persue every avenue! Get the leading pyschics onto case too, anything, however barmy to you, anything is worth a try!Everyone is praying for Maddy and you both and for a good outcome. |

Dear Kate and Gerry
I cannot begin to understand the pain you must be feeling, especially as tomorrow marks a year to the day your beautiful little Maddie was taken. As a mum I know that heart stopping moment when you realise that your child is not by your side whilst out shopping etc. I only hope that one day this evil monster who took her finds it in their heart to look at your faces and see the torment and get her back to you. I strongly feel that she is still alive and being held somewhere. As a christian I pray every day for her safe return to you. I hope that one day a doctor or somebody will look into her eyes and realise who she is. I am so pleased that you are campaigning for something like the Amber Alert as we must not forget all of the other poor children who go missing. May god be with you. |

Ispent two hours crying on weds eve,while watching your programme and i am finding it hard to stop the the tears now. The pain in your eyes was heart wrenching. I am a mum of three girls, aged 9, 6 and almost 2.
It broke my heart to see Kate on Wednesday night on itv, almost a year gone and she survives and stays strong for the sake of her other two children and with the hope Madeleine will be returned.
No one deserves what the McCanns are going through.
I pray with all my heart for you Kate, to keep strong, that Madeleine will come home safe and sound, I hope you will find a little comfort in peoples words of hope.

I had a life saving heart operation in january this year and the power of prayer really made a difference for me.
