To Kate and Gerry. My family thinks of you every day and you are in our prayers. God will comfort you and protect Madeleine.
My family adopted a 6 month old HIV/AIDS orphan. She gave life a fighting chance for 10.5 years and finally succumbed to the illness in January 07. To our horror we are facing murder charges. I completely understand the pain you are going through for being falsely accused of harming a child you loved so much. They say people lie and DNA doesn't, that's only true if the evidence has not been tampered with. We live the horror every single day.
Stay strong Gerry and Kate, its a storm and it will pass. I pray that little Madeleine is one day reunited with the parents who love her so dearly.
The pain of false accusation is unbearable. We believe you 100%. |

Would it be possible for you to establish something like a poster (or other eg message - i'll trust in this) which one would be able to sent on via e-mail asking recipients to do the same in order to spread the message.

My daughter died 30+ years ago in her own bed while I was in the next room. Did she cry and I did not hear her? The guilt and the questions have never left me. So I do know how intense your feelings of helplessness must be. I hope at some point in the future your nightmare gets easier as time really does have that ability to ease the pain and you do manage at first to function then bit by bit get on with your life but it is never the same. I hope that you can manage to survive this and you do at some point manage to either see Maddie again or know for sure what happened to her. It is difficult for the public to make rational judgements of what is happening now as the media has a way of distorting the situation even when they appear to be supporting you. I do not know what the truth is but I am sure if there had been some tragic accident you were both intelligent adults who would have dealt with it in the proper manner to suggest you disposed of the body is not only insulting to you as parents but to you both as intelligent people. In law I am never confident that the truth will be found as I worked in law and the truth was seldom the primary concern. I just hope your nightmare ends soon. |

I feel so sorry for kate and gerry. It is obvious they have (can) nothing to do with the abduction of Madeleine. It must be a hard time for kate and gerry, but I hope that the support messages will give them the strength to continue to search for the truth. All the best!
