it makes me so sad that somewhere there is still a little girl out there and all everyone seems to want to do is put blame on her parents.Maybe if the police put as much energy in searching for madeleine than puttin a shame of a case together against her parents she d be found by now . god bless her and and her family. |

I was recently in Portugal. The villa we were staying in had similar roller shutters to the apartment Gerry and Kate stayed in, and they were unlockable. Being concerned about my grand-daughter, I tried the shutters. They were easily pushed up and down from the outside. No tools or strength were required to lift them. We had to leave the windows closed. |

I just write this short message to say how much I believe both Mr & Mrs McCann and feel nothing but disdain for the people who are spreading the dreadful stories about them. This only shows elements of the press in their worst light. I hope that time soon brings some good news to lift their hearts
I know people who trade in Portugal and I am sorry to say that they believe nothing happens with their police unless sufficient money changes hands. They are not exactly thought of as honest or competant. I believe sincerely that they have only moved the spotlight onto the McCanns to cover their own incompetence

why is it that the Portuguese press and police are being accused of so many leaks when every day there is a different spokesperson for the mccanns 'leaking' what they have discussed with the police and the investigation (but cannot be open about saying themselves)
it is so typical that foreigners are roundly criticised for being unfair and picking on the brits?
there seems to be a campaign to discredit the police - to shift the blame? |
