I thought I would post this link to all the kind supporters who cannot get hold of the British newspapers.
Now I for one have been horrified at the tabloid press in the way they have accused Kate and Gerry and there only proof of what they are accusing is sources,when sources say something they all jump on the bandwagon and print the rubbish they hear.
But thankfully we have someone with some common sense who has over 30 years in the British police force and here is what he had said regarding Madeleine,Kate and Gerry.
He is the ex Met boss Lord Stevens who has been a detective at the most senior level for over 30 years.

Dear Kate and Gerry,
I could not articulate this opinion with my limited crime knowledge, but an Ex-Metropolitan Police Chief has expressed his opinion that “the parents of Madeleine McCann are the victims of a ‘witch-hunt’ and there is no hard evidence because of the “sheer inadequacy” of the Portuguese Police investigation.”
He said: There's absolutely no chance that the parents of Madeleine McCann would be charged with her murder in this country. It would be an outrageous miscarriage of justice if they were.
I've been a detective at the most senior level for 30 years and have never seen such a witch-hunt, or one based on such flimsy evidence.
I hope you can find the bodily strength and faith in your God to sift through the evil in this world and to emerge with greater strength throughout this terrible ordeal.

I just wanted to say I'm so sorry for the battle you are having to fight, at this, a time when you both should be given nothing but support! The vindictiveness shown by some people has been shocking and a sad indictment on our society today. But for each of those people - there must be far more of us who hope and pray every day for you both and for Maddie. Please don't let the intolerance of others bring you down or defeat you - rather - see the good you are doing during this extraordinarily trying time for you!

Every morning when I wake up the first thing I always do is put Sky news on and pray that there is news regarding Madeliene.
The last thing I do before I go to bed each night is to turn back on to Sky news with still hope in my heart that there is news regarding Madeleine.Many time throughout the day I still look for news concerning Madeleine.
Before I finally go to sleep at night I say a prayer to our dear Lord to gently guide this beautiful child back home to her mummy and daddy.
Please believe me when I say that miracles do happen Kate and Gerry,I strongly feel little Madeliene will be one of those miracles and will come back to you both very soon, safe and unharmed.
If you look at the kind peoples names and locations on here who leave these kind and helpfull messages to you,its then you will realise the world is praying alongside you and we all desperatly want a happy ending to this tragic situation.
Keep strong and ignore the fools who accuse you both,we certainly dont listen to them and I pray that you do not either.
You are both in such a dark,horrific place right now,please believe that your precious child will come home to you,we all do.

There is not a day goes by when i don't think about your family, when i don't hear people talking about madeleine, there are yellow ribbons around the lamposts on my street and pictures of madeleine in the windows. Everybody is behind you. My gut instinct tells me she is safe. Best wishes. |

Since Maddie vanished, not a day has gone past when I haven't thought about your precious little girl and prayed for her safe return.
I took my little boy to Portugal in June and everywhere I turned there were posters of Maddies little face.
I can't begin to imagine the pain you, as a family are going through, not knowing where your little girl is.

You are and have done totally the right thing(s)in the search for your daughter. I admire your tenacity and determination and am behind you 100%.Forget the whingers out there and focus as you are on Finding Madeleine. I'm a mum with 3 kids the same age as you - even boy/girl twins and have been on holidays (Club Med) where we have left the kids asleep while we ate - along with many other parents! You have been just so unlucky, in the wrong place at the wrong time.
You have my continued support in the months ahead, the new PJ head appears more on to it, lets hope they come up with some positive leads. Stay strong and stay together. What other people and media say and think is not important in the bigger picture. |
