This is a message for Pricella in Ireland.
I have read your message of support,however I question if it is actually a message of support
Do you not think for just one minute that Kate and Gerry have regretted this decision?,of course they have and even if Madeliene is found safe and well tomorrow,do you not think they will still regret making this decision for the rest of their lives?This guilt will be with them both forever whatever the outcome to this tragic situation.
Now please can I ask you something?
Here in England as well as Scotland,Wales,and yes even Ireland,there are hundreds and hundreds of what we calllatch key children whos parents have to leave their children home alone on school holidays while they go out to work.These children are told to not answer the door,only answer the phone if you hear the special ringdont use the cooker while Im out,these mums or dads go out to work while their children are on school holidays.So what can we do about those children?,I can hear you now saying that the parents have to leave them to keep earning the money but what I am saying is,whatever the reason the children are left alone makes no difference at all,a child left alone in the home is a child left in their home on their own.
Right now most of the children are on school holidays so this is happening right now.
Kate and Gerry thought the children would be safe in a family complex,again a decision they will both live to regret but please remember there are children who will also be home alone next week while their parents go out to work,whatever the age again I say, children left at home alone whatever the ages are children left at home on their own.
Shall we crucify and report these people or is it acceptable to leave them home alone while the parents carry on earning their money otherwise they would lose their jobs and have to rely on benefits?

I am a mother of 2 girls and although I could never imagine how you are feeling, but I can only feel the dread inside me, if this awful thing ever happened to me and my family. She is alive and she will be returned I feel sure of this. I ask my angels every day for her safe return and they are, i'm sure, doing their best to make this happen.... As a Catholic mum working in a school, I feel it would be nice if all the Catholic (and non Catholic) schools could come together on a certain day at a certain time, to pray for Madeleines safe return home. i lost my 7 year old daughter cherrie 10 years ago, she died in a tragic accident,as devastating as it was and still is i thank god every day that at least i know what happened, i cant begin to imagine what gerry and kate are going through but somehow life does go on and as with me , when there are younger children to take care of there is no choice, my heart goes out to you , you will find the strength to continue!!!!! |

I am a single mother and cannot for one instant understand the pain and suffering that yous are all going through. It must be painful to look into Maddie's innocent eyes and know that you have no idea where she is, or what type of sicko has her in their grasp. Although there has been much media speculation about your involment, i don't know. I am a 22 yr old single mother of a 3 yr old boy. I do not receive benefits and work full time. I was quite mature when i fell pregnant so hence i settled down quite quickly! that is y i still find it hard to fathom y you left 3 kids on their own in an appartment, while headin out to hav a laugh. What is with the english? I went there on holiday years ago and they have kiddy area's in most bars. Myself, partner and child have been out foreign 4 times since he was born and he has not been left unattended- ever. I hope and pray for Maddie's safe return as your lives with be in pieces forever without her. I do hope she is alove because it comes back on you both as parents. She is such a beautiful girl and couples who cannot have kids, and would sacrifice nights in, would love a beautiful daughter such as Madeleine |

Earlier on tonight I left a message basically saying a big thank you to Clarence Mitchell,the lovely man who is helping Kate and Gerry right now.
Ive just realised I may of called him Charles once or twice so I appologise about that but at the end of the day,who cares if he is called Charles or Clarence,this man is a special person who has put his neck on the line to help this poor couple and also to raise awareness for Madeline,you are a very special person Clarence and we all thank you so much for your help,take care and thank you.
To Debbie of Manchester,I also have been thinking along the same lines as yourself,things just dont add up do they?I think he should be investigated much more,maybe he can give the answers we all so desperatly need?.

I'm appalled the way the English media are trawling Iberian negativity across the front pages just for money grabbing headlines. I have lived here 42 years, am English and learned very quickly that to get anything done,I had to wave arms, shout, stamp and thump on counters. English reserve is just not understood here. Man in the street may not know that, but the press do, still they market their smears as news. This couple are doctors, they don't break down - if they did, we would never get past telling them our symptoms! I'm keeping positive now, hope the sketch will bring moe news, and one day we will read Madeleine (or any other little stolen mite) Home again |

Please could I say a very big thank you to Clarence Mitchell who is helping raise awareness for precious Madeleine.
It fills me with great joy to see you raising awareness and also standing by Kate and Gerry during this horrific time right now.
You are a no-nonsense man Clarence and you dont suffer fools gladly,this becomes apparent whenever you are interviewed on the television.
When the interviewers come out with stupid questions for you to answer,you treat their comments with the contempt they deserve,I admire you so much for that.
Please stay in the front of this campaign Clarence and keep raising awareness for this precious child,she needs you more than ever right now.
My heart truly goes out to Kate and Gerry but I had to say a very big thank you especially to you Charles because you are keeping Madeleine in everyone's mind.

Just to affirm that the silent majority really are the majority.
Not one of my friends believes any of the sensational stories or speculation coming out of the press.
We all try to put ourselves in your shoes when we think about Madeline. We can't, of course, but we do at least understand that you have to do what any parent would do in this situation. That includes using the media as best you can, and a million other things.
