I hope that one day I wake up as I do every morning checking the news to hopefully hear that Maddy has been reunited with her family. I think about you all every day. Even my 4year old asks if Maddy has been found yet. We need to keep praying and hoping that someone has it in their hearts to do the right thing and give her back to her mummy and daddy and younger siblings. Please don't give up. You will be in our thoughts especially at christmas time. I believe that you are innocent. God bless you all and I really hope you and we get maddy back. It seems strange that I do not know you but Maddy has a bit of a special place in my heart. I have two young children of my own however, this has really touched me. It would be the best christmas present ever!

In 1964 my daughter was in an accident she lay in a coma for six months My husband and I went through the motions our hearts turned to ice she was only only four years old
many pointed the finger at me for allowing her to play out it was a cul de sac playing in front of our home cars couldnt come through into that cul de sac motor bikes could come through the bollards she was on the pavement he swerved to miss 20 children playing on the road mounted the pavement and hit her I know what you you are feeling is much worse I know what goes through your heads I know you have turned old overnight Christmas came to us that year like you we are RC I prayed so much to Our Lady of Lourdes I promised her to adopt a child in her name if my daughter would be restored to me she was she came out of the coma December 8th and an Ambulance brought her home for 2 Hours on Christmas Day I am praying to Our Lady again now for your child and all lost children I know where ever they all are Our Lady of Lourdes is with them constantly With all my love to your family and many many rosaries as to what people say remember always Jesus was scorned and had fingers pointed at him too .. a sword of sorrow pierced his mothers heart too Godbless you all

kate, gerry and twins. i feel you're pain, ive followed your story on madeleine since the day she went missing, i think of her every day, and pray that she is home soon. i look at the news channels several times a day, just hoping that there will be some good news.
just want you to know me and my family are all thinking of you all, and poor little madeleine, i believe she is out there, always have, keep strong and keep believing that she is, and dont listen to all the critics out there, you have lots of people who believe in you, and we all wont give up looking for her, we will never forget her xxx |

Sorry I just also wanted to say that we too have left our children in their beds in a hotel room (on a cruise ship), while we went out to dinner thinking it would be safe. Don't ever blame yourselves. Any parent who says that they have never done anything which they later in hindsight think maybe they shouldn't have, or wouldn't do again, is lying. What you did is only the same as leaving a child in bed upstairs while you are in your garden having a BBQ with friends. Don't ever blame yourselves, you are normal parents. |

We too have a Madeleine aged nearly 4. We think about your Madeleine every day. My daughter recognises her face and she and my son, 4, and the rest of my family all wish so hard for you. I heard on the news recently that they were close to getting her back, and I rang my mum to say I had some champagne on ice for you. It's still there and I know one day we will open it for you, in celebration. Stay strong. xx |
