dear kate,gerry and family, im so sorry that you are still going through this. i am mother to a 3yr old and 2 yr old and when i try and empathise i realise the enormity of your pain.it must be a living death.im a registered nurse and my husband is a GP, i understand how you made that decision that night, its not your fault....it could have been us.i also understand how your occupations would have trained you to hold it together for the cameras, and how the emergency response kicked in. people can be so judgmental and cruel...please know that you are well supported and cared about.i wish there was something i could do to help find her.when i go abroad i do keep a lookout for her.please God keep her safe and may God give you strength to find her.xxxx |

Kate & Gerry, I'm writing as a mother of 4 young children, I just wanted to say how much i admire you both for staying strong and focused on the search for Maddy when sometimes you must feel like giving up all hope! Madeleine needs you to keep looking for her. I look at my 3 year old boy and it breaks my heart for your suffering. My family think of you every day. Every morning i hope there's news in the paper that she's been found or on the news! For the critisism you've received -there is no point in looking back on when she went missing - it's the future that's important. Hi Kate and Gerry, there is not a day goes by that I dont think of madeleine, and when ever I look at her picture I think of my 4 and a half year old grandaughter Kiera who starts school in August, she often asks me when madeleine is going to find her mummy and daddy which makes me feel so sad for you both, my prayers are with you both, and hope that soon some news will come to ease your pain and stop all your misery, take care and my best regards

I wish people would see that the McCann's are inocent, they wouldn't take their daughter if they already had her,would they.
And as for the DNA in the car, that is because her toys were in the car so of course the DNA could be found there.
Kate and Gerry, Be strong, you must know that Madeline is out there alive and thousands and thousands of people all wish the same thing - For Madeline to be found. Everyone is with you including me and i hope you realise that we all will help as much as posible. Stay strong. |

My heart goes out to you all. You made a mistake and you are paying the highest price I have ever known.
I wondered if you weren't trying to do too much on our own.
I would like to see something like Amber Alert, but you didn't get much support. Maybe recreit groups of people in different areas/countries to lobby and push..you can't be everywhere at once.
Look at how the Suzy Lamplugh Trust works...Maddie's campaign for alerts could be like that...use the funds you have to recruit, I have a feeling it wouldn't be hard to do.
Let people help you...you can't do it alone..your twins need you in their lives too.
I hope Madelaine can come home to you and that it will be sooner rather than later...it MUST happen, there is no other solution than could be thought about.
