Dave Griffin From Ilfracombe | Signed On: Thu 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 CST A baby boy is left in the charge of a very young girl. The baby's mother is elsewhere. The babysitter, being a minor, cannot be expected to have the responsibility or maturity of an adult, so she shows the baby to a rottweiler which is chained up in the yard. The baby is mauled to death. A policeman outside the house tells a TV camera the incident is 'no-one's fault.' It's a pity that the McCanns have been roasted by one particular section of the print media when others seem to be immune from the kind of vicious diatribe reserved for Mr and Mrs McCann. Let's hope Madeleine is found soon, alive and well. |
