natalie From Halifax, West Yorkshire | Signed On: Thu 08 May 2008 20:56:16 CDT Gerry and kate, I can not begin to understand how you and your family are feeling and what pain you must be going through. I have a 3yr old little girl called Madeleine and it tears me up inside just thinking about the heartache you suffer every day not knowing where your little princess is.I know at these times you will be suffering the worst pain imaginable but i know you keep strong for your other two children and each other. I want you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I don't think you are to blame for Madeleines disapearance and for leaving her alone. We unfortunately have some sick people in this world and no matter how much we try to protect our children from the bad things in life we can't always be to blame when they happen. You just have to remember they good times youv'e had with little maddie and think of all the good times that are to come! Hope you both keep strong for your twins and maddie, because im sure she would want you all to be happy and remembering her as the little ray of sunshine that brightened up your day! my prayers and hopes are with you now until the day maddie returns home safely. lots of love nataliexxxxxxxxx |

Paul Mitchell From Midlothian, Scotland | Signed On: Tue 06 May 2008 10:09:54 CDT This is going to seem like a strange message so please bear with me. Last night while I watched a film, my girlfriend came downstairs long after she had gone to bed, and asked me to go onto the internet and look up the phrase "Rue de Gales". She explained that she had been thinking about Madeleine McCann and then the phrase "Rue de Gales" had just appeared out of nowhere, and an impression of a stairwell with a wrought-iron banister rail. So I loaded up Google Earth and hunted around with that phrase. Nothing significant appeared at first, but when I typed in "de Gales" it came up with a place called "Joao de Gales" that is very near to Praia da Luz on the map. I'm usually a huge sceptic about this sort of thing but this has spooked the both of us and I'm typing this here just to get it out of our systems. I would hate to be seen as one of those snake-oil timewasters claiming to have some supernatural info. My girlfriend has had a number of incidents like this over the years where she has been spot on with intuitive info about things she couldn't have known. I don't personally believe in psychics at all, but we couldn't leave this weird little incident without at least passing the info on to you in case it may be relevant. Neither of us have ever been to Portugal, nor speak the language, so there is absolutely no explanation for this phrase having popped into her head whilst thinking about Madeleine. (Unless it happens to have been mentioned on a news report recently and she picked it up subliminally, in which case, sincere apologies). We have two little girls too, a 4-year-old and a 1-year-old, we wish you the best and hope that Madeleine will be found safe soon. |
